Why not celebrate
on his actual day?

Service and
On
this day Americans across the country
are called to volunteer
in their local
communities
in tribute to the individuals
lost and injured in the attacks,
first responders,
and
the many
who have risen in service
to defend freedom.
It has its own day,
as well it should!
Maybe we can take
a
number of
the following holidays
and
switch them into one
‘Super holiday’
to
‘serve the many,’
while
‘not insulting the few’?
