Why is it that people in the news need to say this as often as they say President Donald Trump even though Donald Trump in not your President?

Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat/Republican from West Virginia, speaks to members of the media at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Senators negotiating the terms of a $579 billion infrastructure plan chipped away at some of the issues that had been holding up an agreement but have yet to find a breakthrough on other differences that would seal an agreement and lead to a vote on legislation.

Here's exactly why Republicans are afraid of trump!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

If you think history repeating itself just think about changing to names of the political parties from the 1920s 30s to the 2015 2021?

See for yourself because the republicans in congress state and federal have!

Here's exactly why Republicans are afraid to criticize trump

New data from Pew makes abundantly clear why.

More than 6 in 10 (63%) of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents think that the party should not be too accepting of elected officials who openly criticize Trump.

Three in 10 say the party should not accept any criticism of Trump from its elected officials.

Compare that to the 6 in 10 Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who say their side should be at least somewhat accepting of elected officials who criticize President Joe Biden and you have some sense of just how much the Republican Party has devolved into a simple cult of personality.

trumps Rise to Power -  Mein Kampf the Book Written by Adolf Hitler

The Wall Street Crash of 1929 heralded worldwide economic disaster. The Nazis and the Communists made great gains at the 1930 federal election.[57] The Nazis and Communists between them secured almost 40% of Reichstag seats, which required the moderate parties to consider negotiations with anti-democrats.[58] "The Communists", wrote historian Alan Bullock, "openly announced that they would prefer to see the Nazis in power rather than lift a finger to save the republic".[59]

The Weimar political parties failed to stop the Nazi rise. Germany's Weimar political system made it difficult for chancellors to govern with a stable parliamentary majority, and successive chancellors instead relied on the president's emergency powers to govern.[60] From 1931 to 1933, the Nazis combined terror tactics with conventional campaigning – Hitler criss-crossed the nation by air, while SA troops paraded in the streets, beat up opponents, and broke up their meetings.[4]

A middle-class liberal party strong enough to block the Nazis did not exist – the People's Party and the Democrats suffered severe losses to the Nazis at the polls. The Social Democrats were essentially a conservative trade union party, with ineffectual leadership. The Catholic Centre Party maintained its voting block, but was preoccupied with defending its own particular interests and, wrote Bullock: "through 1932–3 ... was so far from recognizing the danger of a Nazi dictatorship that it continued to negotiate with the Nazis". The Communists meanwhile were engaging in violent clashes with Nazis on the streets, but Moscow had directed the Communist Party to prioritise destruction of the Social Democrats, seeing more danger in them as a rival for the loyalty of the working class. Nevertheless, wrote Bullock, the heaviest responsibility lay with the German right wing, who "forsook a true conservatism" and made Hitler their partner in a coalition government.[61]

Sen. Joe Manchin offered progressives some advice:

Let’s start this post with an intelligent suggestion;

NEVER START A SENTENCE WITH

(Lobbyist Sen. Joe Manchin offering advice)!

THE POINT with Chris Cillizza

September 30, 2021  | by Chris Cillizza and Lauren Dezenski

What Joe Manchin gets wrong about the Senate

West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin offered progressives some advice:

If they want a bigger, more costly bill, they should

"elect more liberals."

Which is a good line!

But Manchin misses the mark when it comes to the modern Senate!

According to GovTrack's ideology ratings,

there are only two sitting Democratic senators -- Manchin and Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema -- who rank more conservatively than the least conservative Republican.

The middle is slightly more robust on the Republican side, with six GOP senators ranking more liberally than the least liberal Democrat.

This chart from VoteView

paints the reality of the disappearing middle in stark terms, with every senator ranked based on their voting record in the current Congress.

The number of states that send a split partisan Senate delegation to Washington is just six, the lowest it has been in more than 100 years, according to a Pew Research Center analysis.

(Sidebar:

These Senate numbers are consistent with the overall march of people to their respective partisan camps.

Pew survey earlier this decade showed that 94% of Democrats were more liberal than the median Republican while 92% of Republicans were more conservative than the average Democrat.)

Those numbers too much for you?

Just go back two decades and look at the senators serving.

(Thanks to VoteView, we can do this easily.)

The issue is that there are so few moderates -- especially on the Democratic side -- that when the margin between the parties is narrow (as it is now), a single senator, like Manchin, has almost total power.

The Point: The disappearing middle in the Senate has consequences. And one of the big ones is to make the few senators -- like Manchin or Sinema -- who still peg themselves as centrists hugely powerful in moments just like this.

Lobbyist #3‘West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin’ & ‘Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona’!

‘West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin’ is the owner of two or more coal companies and is his own (Lobbyist)!

How can you the citizens of this country win back your country while he is controlling the puppet strings of the ‘Democratic Party?

Those two companies are Enersystems Inc. and Farmington Resources Inc., the latter of which was created by the rapid merging of two other firms, Manchin’s Transcon and Farmington Energy in 2005. Enersystems purchases low-quality waste coal from mines and resells it to power plants as fuel, while Farmington Resources provides “support activities for mining” and holds coal reserves in the Fairmont area. Over the decades, whether feeding tens of thousands of tons of dirty waste coal into the power plants in northern West Virginia or subjecting workers to unsafe conditions, Manchin’s family coal business has almost entirely avoided public scrutiny.

Manchin did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Sinema to Raise Money From Business Groups That Oppose ...

In politics, lobbying, persuasion, or interest representation is the act of lawfully attempting to influence the actions, policies, or decisions of government officials, most often legislators or members of regulatory agencies. Lobbying, which usually involves direct, face-to-face contact, is done by many types of people, associations and organized groups, including individuals in the private sector, corporations, fellow legislators or government officials, or advocacy groups. Lobbyists may be among a legislator's constituencies, meaning a voter or bloc of voters within their electoral district; they may engage in lobbying as a business. Professional lobbyists are people whose business is trying to influence legislation, regulation, or other government decisions, actions, or policies on behalf of a group or individual who hires them. Individuals and nonprofit organizations can also lobby as an act of volunteering or as a small part of their normal job. Governments often define and regulate organized group lobbying that has become influential.

Yet there are very few in the Capitol who know where Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema actually stands, as she -- along with West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin -- hold the key to her party's agenda and potentially the fate of her party's chances in next year's midterm elections.
