Most Republicans would support legislation banning assault-style weapons, a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll found Wednesday — a finding that contradicts trump's claim earlier the same day that there's "no political appetite" for such restrictions.
The poll found that nearly 70 percent of all voters would back such a ban.
Support for an assault-weapons ban was higher, at 86 percent, among Democrats, who have been pushing for new restrictions on the firearms in the wake of two mass shootings over the weekend.
Republicans typically are more reticent to support new gun restrictions, and
trump campaigned in 2016 on his strong support for the Second Amendment.
But the poll found that 55 percent of GOP voters were comfortable with banning assault weapons, and 54 percent said they would support stricter gun laws more generally.
Ninety percent said they would back universal background checks for gun sales.

Teachers buying supplies for student’s is horrendous at the very least!


This info is for anyone that was going to school in 
Jordan village Waterford Connecticut in the 1940’s?
Sorry no photo not even sure if the building is still there?
Buy school supplies?
Not in my schools.
Teachers ‘Lamb and Nailen’ taught up to 5th grade, both about 100 years old at the time, would hand you a book and forget that you were there for the rest of the year.
It is disgusting to know that teachers, underpaid teachers like Florida (43), are footing the bill out of love for their students!

As I have been stating for many, many, years,
"It is hard to be a villain or criminal of
'mass destruction'
armed with only a club or a knife"!
A hand gun is a blessing
if someone is breaking into your home,
an AK-47 or Ar-15 weapon
is a little over kill and will do strange things 
to the door, walls and windows?
A hand gun also allows one hand free to dial 911.
A hand gun is a lot easier to keep out of reach
from children and to hide from crooks in the home and/or vehicles.
If someone does steal your hand gun, it is also harder to kill massive amount of people at a time
unlike the  AK-47 or Ar-15 weapon!
One might say that  AK-47 or Ar-15 can be used as a club as long as your finger is not on the trigger while clubbing, tough on the home and family.

No one including our past presidents wants to take guns from ‘respectable citizens of the United States’!

We, the citizens of the United States do wish for, as President Barrack Obama stated, “reasonable” gun control.

If you own a weapon it is your responsibility to keep it secured from wood-be thieves, 
if you do not, you are not mature enough to have a weapon.

2nd and 3rd offence and more, 
needs to be a ‘Federal offence’ with mandatory jail time!

If you are found with a weapon that is not yours, 
it needs to be 
a ‘Federal offence’ with mandatory jail time!

The president indicated in his weekly address this week
that he would be meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch
to work out executive actions on
 “reasonable” gun control executive actions
due to the inaction of Congress on the subject.

“The gun lobby is loud and well-organized in its defense of effortlessly available guns for anyone,”

Obama said in his address.

“The rest of us are going to have to be just as passionate and well-organized in our defense of our kids.”

People say that Hillary Clinton 
lost the oval office because
she did not go to the central states enough!

this is why she was suppose to have had a working party
(Warren and Bernie for instance),
behind her, to visit all states often for and with her!
Those two were behind her alright!

The media talks trump 1000 times more than they did Hillary
and then they only talked (EMAILS),
and not her plans for the country and the citizens!
